Hostal Aguilar is the hotel of choice in Madrid. the staff is really helpful and very flexible. the room is great-sized and airy with a clean bathroom, central heating, and a TV. the location is amazing, not very far from a sprawling museum. the hostal is found in a safe part of town.

The staff here were super friendly and really great, the rooms were awesome and pretty clean. the best thing was how central it was - so convenient! Just keep in mind that it can get a bit crowded around here. 🌟

The room was fairly quiet and huge with climate control and multi-channel TV.
Favourable and incredible location just walking distance from an iconic street. Very close to a metro station and 5 minutes' walk to the downtown. Spacious bedroom. Good bathroom with a bath.

The Spanish take their weekends seriously and the noise level was very high on weekends. Uncarpeted hallways and the layout ensured maximum sound distribution. The staff didn't seem concerned about loud guests, late at night.

Booked guest room, that included a patio and an air conditioner. Private bathroom was clean. This lovely old fashioned and well priced hotel had very central setting close to all attractions.

I truly enjoyed my great stay for 2 nights. the hotel was in an amazing location close enough to most areas of interest, the metro, important museums, and great restaurants. the Centro district was definitely worth visiting.

The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. The location of the hotel is really great! They don't have any meals but i really liked the snack and the coffee machines that you can use anytime. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to see Madrid!

Centrally located near Madrid's busy Plaza Sol. A good, basic base for city sightseeing. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet considering central position on busy road thanks to double glazing in rooms.
Accommodation quite basic. Really just a place to sleep but clean and comfortable if that's what you're looking for.
